The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven, international business environment. This position requires ownership of month-end close, audit coordination, and compliance-related filings, with the ability to implement process improvements across the finance function.

  • Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Review and monitor AP and AR activities, providing oversight and support to both teams
  • Review vendor payments, cash applications, credit adjustments, and escalations
  • Own the supplier/vendor setup process, ensuring accurate documentation, proper controls, and timely onboarding
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Prepare financial analysis, variance explanations, and monthly reporting for leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing schedules and documentation
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax filings across relevant jurisdictions
  • Prepare and submit bank covenant calculations and compliance reporting
  • Support cash flow analysis, bank reconciliations, and treasury-related activities
  • Participate in ERP-related projects including enhancements, data clean-up, and process automation
  • Assist with system integrations, reporting improvements, and GL structure updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Development, Account Managers, etc) to research and resolve discrepancies
  • Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to streamline accounting and reporting workflows
  • Coordinate and manage offshore accounting support teams in Asia, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred but not required
  • 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting; at least 1 year of Big 4 experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close requirements
  • Experience overseeing or supporting AP and AR teams
  • Experience managing offshore teams, preferably in Asia
  • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle ERP and BI tools are a plus
