Overview

The Director of Entertainment Sales drives all hotel revenue within the entertainment segment, positioning E11EVEN Hotel & Residences as the destination of choice for film and television productions, music touring groups, VIP talent, influencers, agencies, and entertainment‑focused corporate partners.

This role leads high‑value relationships and delivers a seamless, white‑glove experience tailored to the unique demands of entertainment clients. Working closely with Operations, Marketing & PR, Food & Beverage, and Revenue Management, the Director of Entertainment Sales maximizes revenue opportunities, negotiates VIP and long‑stay business, supports premieres and productions, and ensures exceptional execution for every high‑profile stay, event, and activation—keeping E11EVEN top of mind across the global entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing a targeted sales strategy to drive revenue from the entertainment segment, including film and television productions, music touring groups, VIP talent, influencers, agencies, nightlife partners, and entertainment‑focused corporate accounts.
  • This role proactively sources and secures new business while cultivating long‑term relationships with key industry partners to maintain consistent demand and brand visibility.
  • Manages a portfolio of high‑value entertainment accounts, monitors production and booking trends, and partners closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, long‑stay blocks, and VIP reservations.
  • Focuses on maximizing occupancy and average daily rate while protecting rate integrity and the overall guest experience.
  • Works cross‑functionally with Operations, Food & Beverage, Marketing & PR, and Security to coordinate complex bookings, extended stays, premieres, productions, press junkets, and special events.
  • Supports seamless execution of VIP arrivals, privacy and security requirements, and customized requests to ensure a discreet, white‑glove experience for high‑profile clients.
  • Maintains strong market awareness and actively identifies new revenue opportunities across film, television, music, sports entertainment, brand activations, and lifestyle partnerships.
  • Consistent prospecting, lead follow‑up, networking within the entertainment community, and representing the hotel at entertainment‑focused industry trade shows and events, including Tour Connections and similar forums.
  • Leverages sales systems and reporting tools to manage accounts, track performance trends, forecast opportunities, and contribute to budgeting and revenue reforecasting efforts.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding established goals while operating within the approved sales expense budget.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of six years of progressive hotel sales experience is required, preferably within luxury lifestyle, entertainment, or high‑profile hospitality environments.
  • A four‑year college degree with at least three years of related experience, or a two‑year degree with a minimum of five years of hotel sales experience, will also be considered.
  • Experience working with VIP clientele, entertainment accounts, or complex, high‑touch bookings is strongly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required, along with the ability to manage priorities, make sound decisions, and drive results in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including rooms, food and beverage, and guest services, is essential to effectively collaborate across departments and protect the guest experience.
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and is highly effective at building relationships with internal teams, guests, and external partners.
  • A polished, service‑oriented approach is required at all times, with the ability to listen actively, anticipate needs, resolve concerns, and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information related to VIP clients and entertainment partners.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills are necessary, with the ability to evaluate complex information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
  • Familiarity with hotel sales systems and reporting tools is preferred.
  • Candidates must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury lifestyle brand and be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including attendance at required meetings, trainings, and industry events.
  • A valid driver’s license in the applicable state is required.
