Overview

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of treasury operations while providing excellent customer service to all assigned properties and vendors, payment processing support, research assistance and problem resolution for a portfolio of hotels. This responsibility includes various banking platforms. Due to our growth, we have an immediate need for an additional treasury analyst to join our team. The position is located at our Shared Service Center in Irving, Texas

 

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for bank accounts and banking activities.
  • Assist designated hotels with banking research requests.
  • Research and resolve payment processing issues and bank modifications.
  • Initiate online electronic fund transfers (i.e. wires, ACHs, account transfers, book transfers).
  • Monitor analysis fees and suggest cost-cutting techniques.
  • Assists with opening, closing, and modifying bank accounts.
  • Monitor the Treasury inbox and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain signature cards and other required banking documentation.
  • Review daily cash position of all assigned bank accounts and alerts leadership of any cash shortfalls and works to resolve them.
  • Monitor and decision Positive Pay exceptions.
  • Back-up for other Treasury Analysts and cross-trains in all areas of Treasury.
  • Communicate effectively with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or another related field or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Treasury, preferably in a multi-unit environment. Hospitality a plus.
  • Mastery of major banking platforms for wires, ACH processing, transaction reporting, exporting data, report creation, stop payments, etc.
  • Moderate knowledge of Excel software (pivot table, VLOOKUP, etc.), basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to professionally communicate both internally and externally with individuals at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to implement process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
