Overview

The Benefits Specialist will assist with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for entering or importing weekly benefit enrollments and changes in the payroll system.
  • Respond to benefits inquiries from HR and associates on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Resolve associate issues with benefits enrollment center and insurance carriers.
  • Enter weekly 401k enrollment changes and setup loan deductions in system.
  • Assist with completing disability and life claims.
  • Complete medical support orders and provide required documents to Courts.
  • Provide support to HR and Payroll team.
  • Assist with annual 401K audit and annual open enrollment process.
  • Provide necessary reports to accounting for allocation/billing charges.
  • Able to cross-train in other areas as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years minimum experience in benefit administration. 
  • Dayforce and Reporting experience preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent PC, organization, communication skills and strong attention to detail.
